Error message during the sign up
If you have this error message while subscribing: 'Unknown error, please try later', try to reset your Netvibes cookie by clicking here www.netvibes.com/?reset=1 and try to sign up again.
If it doesn't resolve the issue, that could mean a temporary problem with the server. In that case, just try to sign up later.
If you get this error message: 'Please correct the errors below', correct all the fields content which display a red cross on their right.
Username is not accepted during the sign up
Several usernames are not allowed, in particular some generic names or brands.
Also, check if you're in compliance with the 'username guidelines':
3 to 50 characters, allowed characters are lower-case letters, numbers, '_' and '-'
Unable to change my username
To change your username, please follow the 3 steps below:
- Click on 'Dashboards' on the right top of your private dashboard
- Select 'Manage…'
- Click on 'Edit account info'
- Type your new username in the username field
Warning:
Follow the 'username guidelines':
3 to 50 characters, allowed characters are lower-case letters, numbers, '_' and '-'
Your username update will change your public page URL.
e.g. if your username is 'username', your public page URL will be wwww.netvibes.com/username
Delete my Netvibes account
- Sign in
- Click on 'Dashboards' on the right top of your private dashboard
- Select 'Manage…'
- Click on 'Delete account'
- Type in your password and specify the reason why you want to delete this account
Your account & data will be automatically and definitively deleted

I can’t find my public page
If you get a 'Reserved page… This page has been reserved by Netvibes, but is not yet activated.' page when you try to go to your public dashboard, it means you haven't activated it. To activate it :
- Click on ‘Dashboards’ on the right top of your private dashboard
- Select ‘Activate my public page’
- Follow the steps
Activate/deactivate the public dashboard
- Sign in
- Click on 'Dashboards' on the right top of your private dashboard
- Select 'Manage…'
- Check 'Enable' or 'Disable' button next to 'Your public page'
I did not received my activation email
Check your email spam box where the activation email could have been redirected.
If you still don’t find it:
- Try to sign in with your login/email
- If you have an 'Invalid email or password. Forgot your password?' error message:
You maybe misspelled your email address during your Netvibes registration
If you remember the email you used:
- Sign in with this email
- A message error message is displayed: 'This account must be activated. The activation link has been sent to your email address. We can send you the confirmation e-mail again.'
- Click on the ‘We can send you the confirmation e-mail again’ link
- To send the activation email to a different email address than the one you used during your signup, click on ‘Entered a wrong e-mail address during signup?’
- Enter your password and your new email address
- Click on the 'Send' button
- Send to a friend
- Add to favorites
