gmail: Token expired and failed to refresh token: Expired token. Unauthorized
Ok, happened before, was not a problem just needed to make new gmail app to get confirmation mail and it worked again.
But now all gmail accounts were deactivated coz of suspicious something. wtf. Lost 10 mails (angry)
The solution posted by herve in this thread has worked for me:
gmail app is not working anymore.
"Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."
I am looking for another start page solution too as I don't have reply from the support.
I am glad that the mentioned trick is working for others. I have tried in two computers, without success :(
It it won't change, I will have to look for another start page solution.
anyone has a fix for the pop mail not working problem? (in my case hotmail)
@arana, frankly I don't even have a clue why this works :-)
I just wanted to use a "vanilla" browser, i. e. one which I never had used before and there the Edge chromium dev. version came to my mind. Seems I just got lucky :-)
@Robert M, First of all thanks, I fixed it using your advice, second, care to explain why this works? where did you get the info?, I tried with other browsers (brave, ms edge (the one i already had), private windows etc), why does it work with a developer version of edge?
Yessss, installed MS Edge Chromium Beta and then re-created the gmail app in Netvibes. This works! Thanks Robert for your solution! But it should not be necessary to take this tour. Netvibes fix this, please!

Same problem here. Application is not authorized by GMail.

So It happened again, deleting, adding app did not helped, as it said "temporarily deactivated"

Well, after a few tries, I located the Edge/Chromium download (thanks Monk!) and followed Robert's instructions (many thanks Robert!) and it worked. But this whole group solution thing makes me realize that someone at Google/Gmail could fix this in about 5 minutes. The challenge is how to reach that person and get her/him to focus on solving it for us (and probably thousands more users like us). The Gmail app, for me, is way way the most important app on my Netvibes dashboard. It's why I switched from Start.me

Robert M's solution (MS Edge) worked for me also, but why? What's Edge got that Firefox and Opera don't?
I just solved it by logging into Netvibes from a "vanilla" browser (MS Edge Chromium beta from MS Store) where I never used Netvibes before. Created the Gmail app there and it then let me successfully access my Gmail account. Now it works again on all of my machines and browsers.

Can't access Gmail anymore. First got "token expired and failed to refresh token".
After deleting and recreating the app now I get from Google: "Signing in with Google is temporarily disabled for this app. The use of Google Log-in has not yet been confirmed for this app."

Google Mail is totally unaccessible now through netvibes. Gmail app does not work, pop/imap does not work either.
