How do I manage my account?

How to change my password?

If you want to change your password:

  • Click on your name in the black topbar
  • Click on ‘Edit my profile’
  • Click on 'Your Password'
  • Fill 'Old password'
  • Fill 'New password'
  • Fill 'Confirm new password'
  • Click on 'Save Changes'.

How to change my email address?

If you want to change your mail address:

  • Click on your name in the black topbar
  • Click on ‘Edit my profile’
  • Fill your email
  • Fill 'netvibes password'
  • Click on 'Save Changes'.

How to export an OPML file?

If you want to export all your feeds into an OPML file:

  • Click on your name in the black topbar and on 'Edit my profile' or 'Account' (top right corner of your webpage)
  • Click on 'Feeds'
  • Click on 'Export my feeds' button


You can also export your Opml from the 'Add a feed' panel:

  • Click on 'Add content'
  • Click on 'Add a feed'
  • Click on 'Export' link

Your feeds are now saved into your OPML file.

How to cancel my account?

Send an email via the 'Send us your feedback!' feature at the foot of your netvibes page. Please provide clear, concise instructions.

How to change the language of my webpage?

  • Select 'Settings' at the top right of your webpage
  • Click on 'Languages'
  • Click on preferred language

I have lost my password, how do I recover it?

  • Click 'Sign in' link
  • Click 'Lost password?' and write your e-mail address into the form



An email will then be sent to your email account detailing your logon information.

If you don't receive any mail, please refer to your spam/junk email folder. If the e-mail is not in the spam folder, please send us an email via the Feedback Form at http://www.netvibes.com/static.php?show=feedback.

I tried to access my account but it doesn't appear to exist. What do I do?

If you get the following message: 'There is no match in the database, check your information and try again', try the following:

  • Rewrite your mail address again and your password and please ensure that there is no typo in it.
  • Can you try to recover your password. If you have the same error, there is a problem in your mail address.
  • Can you try to recover your password with all your mail address?
  • When your netvibes account has been created you received an e-mail with your password and your login, can you try to find it?
  • Are you absolutely sure you created an account? Note: With netvibes, you are able to use the product without creating an account.
  • Did you ever tried to access on your account on an another computer?
